Sorry that I disappeared on everyone - not a way to make a good impression as a newbie. 

Things IRL just went out of control and the guy that I've been with for almost two years and I called it quits. It makes me sad, but I think it was the right thing to do - I just needed some time to pull things back together.

So, suddenly I have more time to read - and I'm taking any and all recommendations for hockey fanfic, especially the Penguins. Send me thoughts, links, everything you've got!

On the bright side, I guess this means I'm free to date the Penguins now. ;)

Did everyone enjoy the long weekend? I know I did - sleep, drink, eat and hang out - that's ALL I did the whole time. The sad thing is that I know I could get used to it very easily. I think I need to find that hockey player, you know - the one that needs a housewife/playtoy? ;)

This weekend arrived just in time to save me - and with hockey both days, I'm happy. Maybe a little shopping and some extra sleep, and the only thing missing to make it perfect are the Pens. :)

Another day, another friend - leoceanic7! I have to say that I'm having a lot of fun here, reading a lot and laughing an awful lot. 

As much as I'm missing watching the Pens, I'm happy that the two series look to have some life left in them. At this point, it doesn't really matter to me who wins - just so each round goes all 7! ;)

Hello out there. 

Like they say on TV, if you haven't seen it, it's new to you - so I'm pretty much new to LJ. A long time ago I had an account, but I see they purged - so I'm starting all over.

I'm hoping to find lots of Penguins fans, and lots of friendly hockey fans - and I've joined some communities, so I'm diving in head first. :)
